Minimoog Posted June 2, 2020 Share Posted June 2, 2020 Moj omiljeni blues album je 'The legendary Son House: Father of the folk blues' iz 1964. O ovoj ploci i o tome koliko je ona vazna bih mogao da pisem deset dana da se ne umorim. Zarekao sam se da cu jednog dana da kupim gramofon samo zbog nje. Toliko. Ali album koji volim jednako, ili mozda cak i vise nego ovaj, se zove Hound Dog Taylor and Houserockers iz 1972: Ovaj sestoprsti slajd gitarista iz Cikaga je pred sam kraj zivota, nakon dvadeset godina svirki, dobio priliku da udje u studio i sa svoja dva prijatelja snimi ovo remek delo. Legenda kaze da je cikaski Aligator Records osnovan samo da bi Hound Dog snimio taj album. O tome kakva je majstorija u pitanju prosudite sami. Ali ono sto mene najvise odusevljava je zvuk. Taylor je slajd gitarista. Svira neku jeftinu Teisco gitaru koja ima neki poseban krenk i neverovatnu atmosfericnost. Ipak ono sto je retko u bluzu je da je ovde u pitanju bend. Houserockers. Po meni najbolji bluz bend svih vremena. Prvo, nemaju basistu, vec drugi gitarista svira samo debele zice Bubnjar je cudo. Sva trojica sviraju sa toliko poleta i pozitivne energije da vise lice na neku modernu zajebanciju iz 2000ih nego na nekakve blues legende. Nakon 2 min slusanja ti bude jasno da su upravo oni bili inspiracija za ovaj alt blues revival iz 2010ih na celu sa Black Keys. Uglavnom, ko nije ovo otkrio do sad duguje mi pivo. Link to comment
